Product Review: An excellent laptop
The rating is given purely for the machine itself; very efficient, and so fast that, at times, it makes me chuckle with disbelief.

I'm not a gamer, but I got this machine to future-proof, and it doesn't disappoint in terms of features and specifications.

Downsides? Very few. No backup media supplied (it was with my previous Toshiba laptop); it's now an extra at an additional (and extortionate) cost. The only thing I really don't like is the Operating System; it strikes me that Windows 8 is not terribly user friendly, but like Vista when that was shipped with all new machines a few years ago, I suppose I'll get used to it.

But these are minor inconvenience, more than compensated for by a superb machine, picture quality is good, sound is much better than previous machines, and the backlit keyboard is a nice touch, as are the keys themselves.
