Product Review: NOT for high end use - its a flashy toy
Looks fantastic: easily the best looking laptop, superb keyboard, brilliant sharp screen. You will be very pleased with it initially. Try out competitor laptops in a shop and see how all the other keyboards bounce/ slap.
One minor downside: It's bundled with masses of bloatware which slow it down, so first thing is take an hour to uninstall the rubbish that sony have pre-loaded. Ideally do a clean install from scratch.
One MASSIVE downside: the laptop air intakes are underneath so it MUST be used on a hard flat surface (not your lap!) - and even then it will clog with dust after a year of use & need cleaning internally by a specialist shop. Otherwise its only a matter of time before a catastophic overheat and your motherboard & graphics are fried.
I used it for high end CAD work - it died 6 months after the warranty expired & needed a new screen!!
