Product Review: Little niggles
The laptop is a good solid product. My only reservations are associated with the keyboard layout. The delete key is very small. The Samsung setup was straight forward and "Windows 7" was installed with very few questions. Samsung have supplied a utility for setting up networks that is very effective. I had everything up and running in a couple of hours. If you come from the Windows XP stable like myself then "Windows 7" takes some getting used to. If you install new software, e.g. "Microsoft Office Professional", then don't expect to find it on the "Start Menu" after installation; it's there, you just have to find it. "Windows 7" has a new search facility on the "Start Menu". I typed in "word" and there it was! You now have the choice of setting up quick access using the "Start Menu", "Task Bar" or "Desktop". Flexibility comes at a price. Overall, a good combination of hardware and software.
